Garden Trampoline Safety
By Input Linda Gore)
Feb 26, 2006, 12:45
Whilst everyone accepts that garden trampolines have great appeal, British
Gymnastics has serious concerns regarding the risks involved, and recommends
that all Trampoline activities should be undertaken in the correct environment,
under the supervision of qualified coaches.
British Gymnastics hopes that any member clubs would endorse this view and would remind clubs of the BG Safety Policy on Garden Trampolines which gives guide lines on how to make trampoline jumping safer. The Policy is accessible from the download section on the BG Website, under ‘Trampoline Gymnastics Technical Committee’.
